Ideal for walkers, bikers and anyone who enjoys the beautiful North Wales Countryside. We are a secret place were you can relax and unwind but close to recreational facilities and amenities. From the Mill you can walk across the lane outside and go over the bridge, up the wood and walk to Loggerheads via the Leete and beyond to Moel Famau, or walk up the hill to Cilcain and the Clywydian Hills and Moel Arthur.

Fly fishing is available at Cilcain and Nannerch. Carp fishing  is available in Llandegla. There are children’s playgrounds in Rhydymwyn (1 mile) and Cilcain (2.3 miles) and children  can play and explore or ride their bikes. In Rhydymwyn there is a Garage, Shop and Coffee Shed and Rhydymwyn Football Club. In the summer there are village shows in all the local villages

The market town of Mold is 3 miles away and there is a street market on a Wednesday and a Saturday. A Leisure Centre including a swimming pool and Theatre Clwyd. Bailey Hill Visitor Centre is open to visitors interested in history.

Inland there are the towns of Denbigh, Ruthin and it is not far to the Horseshoe Pass and Llangollen. Just beyond Mold via Northop is the A55 coast road which will give you sea, sand and castles etc at Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Conwy and beyond. Chester Zoo and Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay.
